Below is a guideline for registering your player in the appropriate league. When placing players in a league and constructing teams, the TLL Board works extremely hard to balance the following:

1. Fun

2. Safety

3. Skill and developmental needs

4. Competitiveness (more at the Majors and AAA levels)

Generally, we want to keep all the grades together, but please understand there could be situations where that is not possible for many of the reasons listed above.There may be instances where the TLL board will make a suggestion for  player placement that deviates from the chart below. In most cases, these suggestions come at the AA, AAA and Majors levels. Please know that these suggestions are not taken lightly. The TLL board takes all factors into consideration and always has the child’s best interest in mind. Any suggested placement outside the general guidelines will be discussed with the parent prior to the beginning of the season.
